TRULINE SOFFIT SPECIFICATIONS

Quality Edge® Overhang System

The Quality Edge® Overhang System is a complete collection of soffit, porch ceiling, and underdeck products designed to enhance the performance and beauty of exterior roof overhangs and outdoor living spaces.

By combining durable metal construction with advanced ventilation technology, these products help protect roof structures while creating finished architectural ceilings for porches, decks, and exterior spaces.

Proper soffit ventilation plays a critical role in attic health. Ventilated soffit panels allow cool air to enter the attic while warm, moisture-laden air exits through roof ventilation systems. This continuous airflow helps reduce heat buildup and moisture accumulation inside the roof structure.

The Quality Edge overhang system includes five integrated product families:

  • Vesta® Plank Soffit

  • TruVent® Hidden Vent Soffit

  • TruLine® HP / TS Soffit

  • Inside Out® Underdeck

  • Porch Ceiling Collection

Together these systems allow architects and builders to design clean, finished ceilings across roof overhangs, covered porches, and underdeck living spaces.

Applications

Quality Edge overhang products are designed for:

  • Residential Homes

  • Covered Porches

  • Roof Overhangs

  • Outdoor Living Spaces

  • Underdeck Patio Systems

  • Multi-Family Housing

  • Light Commercial Construction

Material Construction

Quality Edge overhang systems are engineered using durable metal construction designed to withstand exterior conditions.

Materials include:

  • galvanized steel soffit panels

  • architectural aluminum soffit systems

  • corrosion-resistant finishes

  • multi-layer protective coatings

These materials provide long-term durability while maintaining a finished architectural appearance.

Ventilation Performance

Proper soffit ventilation improves attic airflow and helps protect roofing systems from moisture buildup.

Ventilated soffit panels allow outside air to enter the attic while pushing warm air out through ridge or roof vents. This process helps reduce heat buildup and prolongs the lifespan of roofing materials.

Typical ventilation ratings include:

Product Net Free Area
TruVent Hidden Vent 11.0 NFA
TruLine Full Vent Up to 19.6 NFA
TruLine Center Vent 5.9 NFA
